@@taylorhenry1390 I truly wish you the best of luck with driver's ed. And my best tip would be to honestly just go for it and drive. I know that probably doesn't help whatsoever, but to be honest with you, if you don't conquer your fear of driving early on, you may never be able to and that wouldn't really get you anywhere. But just like he said in the video, get to know your car before driving, because that will honestly make all of the difference.

Some ppl out here criticizing him for either the smallest things such as the volume of his voice OR him forgetting something important AND THEN IMMEDIATELY saying the video was "bad" 🤔 he's trying his best to help out as much as possible WITH what he CAN remember. I'm sure he appreciates the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism but there are some comments that are more judgmental and hateful over some mistakes that immediately undermines the rest of his important advice. He's speaking loud because at times traffic IS loud and I'm sure he'd rather be loud than to not have people hear him. If he's "too loud," just lower the volume instead of complaining...it's called COMMON SENSE. Also, he's ONLY HUMAN just like those negatively criticizing him so OF COURSE he will make a few mistakes of forgetting something, ESPECIALLY when he's doing it by himself without the help of another experienced driver to add on. That is why you ASK QUESTIONS and DO RESEARCH MULTIPLE TIMES. The most obvious thing is to take the help that is given to you but DONT rely on ONLY ONE VIDEO. There's a driving manual, there are articles, other videos, etc to learn from and ADD to this knowledge. One source won't always have ALL the possible information on something as important as driving. Why bite the hand that is feeding you? Be grateful that there are people like him who are using their platform to help others rather than hurt. To this man, thank you for your video. For the most part, it was very helpful but as others said, you did forget to mention certain things that could've made the video a bit more helpful. The advice you were able to remember was good as well. Your annunciation was golden and the volume was also loud enough to hear you very well. Overall, this video was helpful to the 32k ppl that liked it, including myself.

Already passed my road test last year but these videos are still big help. He says some important things that every driver should know. Btw to pass your road test is best if you start driving on your own for months. I tried with a driving school two times and always failed because i was never allowed to drive myself. I decided to buy my own car with my permit and got bf to drive me to test location and tada i passed my road test in my car. I drove myself anywhere alone and when i got the instructor in it was like i was giving her a ride. 🤗 good luck everyone.

Okay so I’m about to turn 24 and have a huge fear of driving, and it’s embarrassing cause everyone else comments on how I’m 24 and still only have my learners permit. But I’m really happy to hear how there are some others with this fear. I hope I am able to drive soon with confidence and less anxiety of thinking I’m going to crash and hurt someone 😥

You have nothing to be embarrassed about you will do it when your ready don’t be so hard on yourself I feel the same way about driving too as well so your not alone a lot of people have this fear it’s very common you can do it just keep practicing and eventually you will get the hang of it

One VERY IMPORTANT tip: when getting gas, if you want unleaded, read the labels on the gas pump and MAKE SURE you are using the correct nozzle. The unleaded nozzle could be any color: black, red, blue, etc. (in my area the unleaded nozzles are black). Make 100% sure you aren't accidentally grabbing the DIESEL or ETHANOL (E20, E30, E85, etc.) nozzles if your car needs unleaded. (In my area, the diesel nozzles are green, but they could also be several other colors). If you aren't 100% sure, go inside and ask the clerk. This can be a very expensive tow and repair bill for your car if you accidentally grab the wrong nozzle and fill your unleaded tank with diesel. It happens more often than you would think. And the repair won't be covered by the warranty, of course, and may not be covered by your insurance. Another clue that you accidentally grabbed the diesel nozzle is that it won't fit inside the hole on your unleaded gas tank, although it's still possible to hold the nozzle to the hole and fill the tank with diesel. The unleaded nozzle will fit ALL THE WAY inside the hole, deep into your gas tank. If you DO happen to accidentally grab the wrong nozzle and fill the unleaded tank with diesel, don't drive the car. Immediately call a tow truck and be towed from the gas station to a repair shop where they can drain and clean your fuel tank. Driving the car will only cause significantly more expensive damage.

Rebecca A got my permit in October and started right after was super scary to start but if you have a good teacher then it’s a lot calmer and it does get easier over time. Unfortunately cause of what’s going on I can’t learn anymore for the moment super bummed about it :( but stay calm and don’t worry keep concentrated know your road rules feel the car and it’ll be okay 💕 we got this!

My parents rarely taught me to drive and didn’t start caring about my driving skills until I was 18; they just got tired of driving me around. The way they taught me just worsened my anxiety and because of that, I didn’t want to ever ask them to help me. So I I appreciate this man teaching us. My main fear of driving is just that since there is so many different things you have to pay attention to, I feel like I will eventually miss something because of how much I am stressing out trying to pay attention to everything and fail. I think I will probably get over it because when I was driving recently it felt a little better than before, but it will take a bit more practice to fully get used to it. Nice video BUT you forgot to mention one of the most important thing in the beginning! Your feet must press against the brake in order to move the stick and must be on it while you are in DRIVE until you are ready to go so that the car doesn’t start rolling off. Once you’re ready to start driving than you slowly take your feet off the brake and switch over to the gas pedal. That’s what I panicked about when I first drove cause I didn’t know that and my car just started rolling even when I wasn’t stepping on gas 😰😰 I try to switch the stick back to park but it wouldn’t move because I wasn’t stepping on brake! It was my first and last time driving! Til this day I’m still nervous about driving but I’m really hoping to get my DL soon now that I’ve practice more.
