If you see a yellow light on the traffic light, take the foot off the gas and move it over to break pedal. Listen as the engine downshifts and when you start approaching red light,slowly press on the break. It's a good idea to practice in empty parking lot to get used to your car responding to your breaking. This will teach you how to break softly and will help with preserving your break pads from premature wear and tear.

Thank you for the video, I am 44 and finally decided to overcome my fear of driving, it's not easy at first but after six hours practice i'm not shaking anymore when i sit behind the wheel, my voice still cracks when i talk and have nervous laughter sometimes but slowly i'm becoming more comfortable, it is an amazing experience that i should have had when i was young but now at my old age it has given me something new to look forward to everyday, i don't actually regret entirely that i miss this for such a long time because now it is happening, thanks for the tips.

@YT User manuals are much cheaper to fix and you don't have to stop to put it in sport mode and neutral. Its already in sports mode! You have full control of the car and it is much more fun. Also, with manual transmissions you can put your car in low gear while downhill. This will slow your car down without using your brake pedal and not wear your brake shoes

Shame that driving school is so expensive that I have to turn to KZbin. But something is better than nothing, tbh. Also, nice instructions! You're getting me over my small fear of not trusting myself while behind the wheel. I prefer this than my dad stopping on the freeway or my mom pulling over and expecting me to just, go. All the while yelling in my ear. I'm 21 and as much as i want to learn to drive, I don't think throwing your child immediately on the freeway is gonna TEACH them to drive. Such as rules, how to drive the car and basic car info etc. Once you have the lessons it will sound familiar and that will make you feel a lot more confident in what you do. Well Ghada if you like to learn Automaitc transmission car it’s much easier than manual car and if you are living in city like jeddah so you can go with anyone from your family member to places like osfan etc as there is open area to drive as much as you can without any hussle and I also learnt driving when I came to KSA in 2015 and I am very well with driving now Alhamdulilah 😊 and if you would like to learn driving than I can teach you if you are in Jeddah,cheers 🤞🏽

I got my permit at 16 and I'm now 18 and I'm so scared of driving I never went back. I probably need to tho cuz my permit expired and it's not like I can use it for the rest of my life but I also can't even park a car. So they'd probably fail me if I went since I haven't even been on a road with more than one lane and I needed my license not until I hired a professional test drive professional who helped me in skipping the test and now I have my license

I'm gonna be 24 and still don't have my license because my family always keeps me inside the house. Luckily I applied for jobs to find my way out of this cage. They only taught me to drive i neighborhoods and shame me for not getting a license like my younger cousin who's mom is less strict. I'm tired of it and am tired of my life being drained, I want to take action for my own life and am doing it slowly but believe soon I can at least get my license if I keep it up with studying and practicing but I don’t think I can cos I got a lotta work to do

Got my Ontario license in 1979. (Yeah I'm old now) Back then you just had the one learners permit called the '365'. Had to renew it twice because it took me 2 yrs to pass a road test. However, been accident-free since then. The rules may seem common-sense to you, but there are a lot of morons out there who have to told everything multiple times, using small words. (or so it seems)

Way better than the driving instructors I had, they expected me to already know how to drive. In my head I was thinking why would I pay you a crazy amount of money per hour to practice me to drive if I already knew how to drive. They didn’t tell me about the mirror alignment or the brake or anything just told me to adjust the seats and drive. I actually drove better and more confident with my strict ass dad because he was telling me and making sure I knew what was going on. And with the instructors they always came late and want to end the driving earlier. And seriously these videos are much better than those instructors’ instructions!

I tried to do this without the tutorial earlier and I figured it out! but the accelerator is so sensitive I almost crashed in my driveway lol. Thanks honestly driving a car is far different than I expected, the automatic feels weird, I thought it'd be as simple as stepping on the accelerator and braking or somehow theres a reverse step, but you have to use the shift gear for everything, so driving's weird. Also it's hard to turn the wheel lol. Thanks for helping :) good luck to everyone learning... drive safe. I'm 21 and barely learning and I was afraid to start driving, but I believe I will get the hang of it.

Great tutorial. I passed my test years ago..in my mid 30's. I was always taught never to do hand over hand, because that would be an automatic fail! However, as soon as I had passed my test, I switched straight to hand over hand, and have been doing it ever since because, as you say, it's safer! I'm UK based...it's a bit different here I guess.

Hello, I am so happy today. i went for my first driving class taday (i am in dubai). i never drove any vehicle before in whole life. I was very nervus. suddenly two hours before my class i searched on you tube about driving tutorial and saw this video repeatedly 5 times. can you imagen? the foot placement and handling skill told in this video I followed exactly and its done.
