I have been working with Cassandra to work her neglected (not by her) yard into the same amazing kind of space that her historic, 100 year old home has in the interior! This is part 3 of our consultation, where we work out what to do with her back yard, and puzzle out a solution for a surprise fire place that might just be from a pioneer household!

This place is fabulous and has so many possibilities! The mystery chimney is just wonderful. I love native gardening for ecology wherever they are, being norwegian I have mostly watched British ones. In this video that tree stump really leapt out at me because that is a treasure and a rare resource for biodiversity and ecological health in urban areas, I would love to jump in and encourage the lovely client to keep it 😅. You could make it a feature by making it a mini stumpery and plant it up with ferns 🌿
