Gym membership $50/mo time 12mo = $600 annually. For $600 a year, I can workout whenever I want for the most part, I don't have to clean the place, I'm not responsible for maintenance, I can meet people with similar interests, and if I move I can just transfer gyms. Not to menon my gold's membership is actually on $25/mo.

Should have made the room wider. Given that bar or weights will 100% hit those walls eventually given how close the bar ends are to them. Also get some floor mats. Great work but you definitely need to expand the room or repurpose it

Well, if he gets tired of using it as a gym, he can turn it into a small studio, add a sink, and small refrigerator, add a toilet and a shower. Can always add to it for the bathroom. If the city allows, could have extra income. He might not want the aggravation. Or could be small Air BNB.

His gym his rules. Just a guess here but I do believe that his gym is open 24/7, his own sweat his own cleanup and no one else to follow behind from the 50 that used it before him. Besides, if he wants to grunt he can grunt and he can do it without the socialized dating engagements hugged up around a machine in leotards and spandex. He workout to "his" own standard and not "jump" in a line or from a line waiting that is already wet from sweat or soap. His membership is free while it increasing a personal equity. Damn good job. Cat-Fishing be damned same with the scenic walk-arounds. Flirting stays at home.

$8000.00 build cost. Monthly gym membership: $25. Well, this'll start saving money in 27 years. It’ll probably sink into the ground well before then.
@scottjacoby529725 күн бұрын
LOL. Now calculate the time and expense to drive to the gym every day. Now calculate the added value to the home with the addition of this structure. If you think $8000 is a lot of money, it's not for you. You should probably save your money.
@kevinberniebarron7548Ай бұрын
Great job! One problem, for me, I would have at least used "sonotubes" and poured concrete below the frost line! With a structure that you will use for years, a good "foundation" is essential!

Dumbest construction project video I've ever watched. And I've watched thousands of them. No foundations. Not even pilings. A "gym" where you can fit just one machine, and you cannot walk around it.
