What sucks is after helping them out they don't do anything anymore, they just become backgrounds while slightly moving in place

Goblette is probably the "tutorial" to helping other characters, as you'd be looking for tapes to play as they gives a reaction of sort. It interests the player that something can happen if you play more movies. She was my first puppet i befriended and it made me rethink of back tracking, trying to find ways to help the others as well.

So, as I understand it, this game isn't meant to be scary, and I can get that... But I did not prepare myself for a talk about depression with a big green thing with a bib and salt/pepper shakers for fingers! I just love how in that moment, they really click with each other, and they both actually look back like Goblette felt the exact same thing he did.

When I put a third movie I was expecting anything but not a depressed Goblette who tried to eat me. Out of curiosity I decided to visit her, even though I was suspicious. And it was actually really touching. After Gordon's speach I kinda felt guilty that I used a bomb to stun her. After that moment I tried to find a ways to help others puppets who was in trouble with something. After some time I helped them all and it felt really good. For some reason I love those elements in games, where you can help and/or befriend an enemy. And after act of kindess they either become your ally or won't try to kill you.

I love the crap out of this game because of how different it is from the other mascot games. These puppets aren't evil, possesed, or anything like that, but they're living beings with feelings not too different from you or me. I honestly love the direction this game took

I love how this game functions and feels like a resident evil game but it’s so sweet and I love how they decided to not go with the “puppets are tragically possessed” and just a fact of the world

Funny thing is the tvtropes isn’t completely updated sure it has a lot of things based on the full release but Nobody changed the thing that was confused about when pearl ( the bird ) was mentioned And said that everyone but ray ( the janitor puppet )talked And I think the only puppets that don’t talk is goblette but I’m probably wrong

But the problem is theres multiple of them. Unlike pearl, Ray, Gobblete, the dogs and arnold. It would be a pain and a long time for our not so grumpy repair man to help them

@@Evilpeter1 i like the idea of helping the amalgamation but the problem is it atacks gordon. Unlike Ray hes just a grumpy janitor but not for the amalgamation and if it did work heres how it sound like "Hey look buddy... i know its hard for you to face the reality of the world but... you should'nt atack people. You need to face the reality of this world not become part of it... and you were created to spread joy and kindness to the world you should'nt be agresive to people... there are still kind people out there who learned the lessons from your show... what do ya think... i know this world is crule but you got to face it always find hope and light (the amalgamation transform to its origanal self) see the world is not that bad is'nt it?"

Haven't played the game yet but i did see the second ensing where Gordon plays a film for the muppet and I'm guessing Gordon is also a war veteran who fought in the Northern War

makes sense considering when Ricky's about to mention it, Gordon get a little more hostile with him like it brings up really bad memories and it's the one time he actually shot at him

The implication is that he is a war veteran. When Ricky brings up the possibility of him being a soldier he gets mad at him for bringing it up, implying its a sensitive subject.

It's actually confirmed at the beginning of the game. If you click on the heart charms in the truck, Gordon says "got those in the war. Last time I stick my neck out for someone else".

I hope this game gets a sequel perhaps the player could be a burglar or criminal but if you get the true ending they redeem themselves

True ending should be them attempting to return a puppet they stole only to be knocked on the ground. They look up and we finally see Gordon’s face for the first time. Gordon realizes they’re not so bad and helps them up telling them the others are waiting for both of them only to see all the puppets greeting him and letting him in.

Normally when somthing it trying to attack you in a horror, if they showed vulnerability you wouldn't hesitate to use that against them, but here he tries to sympathize with them, which is interesting.

I haven’t been this in love with a horror game this much since Silent Hill 2 and RE4. It’s honestly perfect for me. The scares aren’t cheap, the combat is fun, and the story is interesting.
