@@PlanetSavingNovice Two last things: 1 - I can’t wait for the next one, still wondering what is gonna need a hacksaw. 2 - To explain why that rock is seemingly out of place, imagine that every tributary that feeds into that second (third) culvert you showed us gets 5 inches of rain in an hour. All of that water converging into that stream will be flowing suddenly high and fast. If there’s any mud from erosion, that rock will roll. For an extreme example, here’s an equally mesmerizing video of the yearly debris flow at Illgraben, flowing off the Illhorn in Switzerland down into a crevice to the Rhône. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z16tnqiKnMhmmdU It’s an exaggerated and violent version of a flash flood, but it highlights the power of high, muddy water. In a thaw event even in that culvert that gets “no use,” when the flow is that high, it’s still going to get some use, just over the dirt filling in the channel. Rocks roll downstream every spring. I hope the link is tonnes of fun, I’m about to rewatch it myself :)

@@PlanetSavingNovice Oops, that was the wrong one. Still powerful, but this was the first one I saw, and it’s much more terrifying. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nl7bpJtvnt2Mf6c

You need thick rubber gloves for that kind of work, I've got 5 stitches in my little finger from old ashtray that cut me, good luck too the future.
