The government wastes hundreds of millions on these deadbeats every year. What’s sad is that we have so many people willing to just give up and expect others to feed, house, and feel guilty for their actions. Don’t be so gullible listening to these ‘war’ stories. At least he knows this one never served second in the Marines, as he claims. Just let him keep talking and he proves it. 😂

Be careful Michael, MRSA can live a long time on surfaces. Use hand sanitizers in your car and wipe surfaces like that cooler down with lysol spray or chlorox. That's not MRSA, poor guy can't even admit he's a drug addict. if you can't admit it, there's no hope heartbreaking isn't it?
@ElSantoLuchador Жыл бұрын
I sincerely doubt it's a MRSA infection from years ago. Those type of infections either last a couple of weeks or else you're dead. His claim to congestive heart failure explains the swollen lower limbs. I'm almost positive the blistering came from using Tranq on the street. That's why the woman told him he needed to stop taking "that drug". Tranq dope is an epidemic, especially for the homeless population, It's cheap asf, and the tranq mixed with fentanyl means he won't respond to narcan anymore and open wounds and sores will develop due to the tranq (an animal tranquilizer).
@ElSantoLuchador Жыл бұрын
@@burly636 Exactly. Likely due to using Tranq. He explains it away by saying it was a MRSA infection he caught years ago, which is completely ridiculous. I believe him about the congestive heart failure, though, due to his swollen lower limbs (edema).

It's obvious this guy is not at his bottom. Many would say to me, "How can you say that? Just look at him!" My response is: He continued to lie to Michael when confronted frankly about his skin eating away due to the contaminants in the drugs he is using. He flat refused help and a trip to detox and a recovery unit. He wouldn't even admit to his problem with Michael. Even though Michael gave him an easier way out by saying the drug started the sores and the dirt intensified the infections(a rather roundabout explanation but Michael was being diplomatic). No, this guy has to reach his bottom before he asks and goes for help. Unfortunately, death may stand between where he is now and where his bottom is. Michael did try, and that is really all he can really do at this point.

Thank you so much Michael and for helping the pets! When I was a social worker some we knew loved living on the street and those were usually the ones drinking or drugging and then those with other circumstances. Either way I helped them best I could with the resources we had. Govt won't even give food stamps if you're on social security (above a certain amount) so every little bit helps. Tucson has a leash law and they're strict about it and could take a pup if it's not leashed. Also saw there's a free mobile vet in Tucson every couple months. Can get vet help and rabies so can license n not lose your pet. Some of us would rather be on the street with our only unconditional loving fur babies than in shelters that won't accept pets. And yes, that officer had just the right amount of firm and concern. That's a thin line and he does deserve credit for how he handled everything. Too bad TPD is so short staffed. Could've taken the guy at least to the Crisis place for detox. Much love to you Michael. May God keep you strong and safe

Whatever "Grey Matter" he once had in his skull took the last bus out of town! I applaud you Michael for staying current on the street, homeless and drug culture of the area. Whenever I ride the bus to take care of errands, it never fails that I am approached for cigarettes and spare change (I don't smoke nor do I carry actual cash anymore). It's insulting that they think they can play me. It is also very sad. If they hang around me, I let them know of programs in the area for a hot meal and overnight shelter. Some of the shelter programs drug test people so they stay clear of those places. I applaud you and the wonderful police officer and continue to support your efforts. Carry on and BE SAFE!! The good, the bad, and the ugly... so pitiful, and don't want help...there's one like that in my family...Dad had a saying...you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it...God bless you for trying...🥰🥰

the policeman impresses me. He has a strong and at the same time human authority. great guy. In general, I find it impressive that police officers in the USA travel alone. Here in Germany there are always at least two in one car... I like Tucson too - so much space, so wide. Homelessness is always bad. But better in Tucson than in Cologne, I think… Especially in winter…🙏🏻 However, if you take drugs, you have lost everywhere. Then you are doomed to failure.
