To acquire more repertoire, you need to memorise and internalise chord progressions so that you can reduce your conscious interference when it comes to what comes next, focusing more on improvisation, rhythm, etc. In this personlised game, you simply choose how long your chord progression will be (at least three chords!), choose random notes from the chromatic scale, apply them to a key and then write the resultant note values in that key. Caution: they will not always be notes of the key so you'll have to flatten them sometimes. Then memorise the number sequence in the key, then apply chord types. Do as much of this away from the piano as possible.
If you can get comfortable doing this with random chord progressions and types, approaching the main repertoire will be a breeze since the progressions aren't as crazy as your results will be!
