In this video you will learn how to permanently repair your foggy, cloudy headlights. There are many cloudy headlight remedies out there, but most all of them require ongoing maintenance and just don't last. This procedure for clear headlights is a permanent, no maintenance repair. You will have new headlights for your car in a short time!
Clear coat paint was purchased at Walmart for about $4.
Sandpaper can be purchased at any auto parts store or online.
All other materials you will most likely have around your home.

Nice job looks great I've done this method to a couple of my daily drivers works incredibly well lasting years since. I prefer removing the headlight for better coverage but some cars are just such a pain in the ass to remove & not really worth the extra Time and aggravation

I did the same thing on my Supra ‘97, but with 600, 1500 & 3000 grid. Thanks, your video inspired me to do it, and not waste extra money on something fixable like this! Cheers.

Personally since this stream was made people are beginning to realise the down side of using 2k clearcoat on headlights? it's primarily function is for Car bodies only!! Unless it's written on the can otherwise stay Clear!!Other points to remember once this can as been activated by way of pressing the Red button on the bottom of the can you can't use it again because the shelf life of this product is way to short owing to the fact that over a short time the hardener will set the remaining liquid!! The drying and cureing time is exceptionally long!! And lastly when restoration comes around again which it will (Nothing is permanent) 2k is a Nightmare to remove!!! As you've just witnessed mutable layers was applied making light transmission worst!! It's far better to buy a certified headlight Clearcoat that is manufactured for polycarbonate headlights only, I could recommend probably the best Clearcoat on the market today, But won't, Do your research you'll find it yourself anyway!! 🤔😎👍

Done this with plastic long before most of you have been alive! I don't believe in snake oil.Because it doesn't work! I have seen others fail. Protect painted areas.use common scenes tape or remove. start with wet sand 400 600 grit depending on cloudiness. Don't be very aggressive until you see how it cuts. work in one direction only, work your way up to 800. then use a power buffer to polish. use a product like Meguiar's DIAMOUND CUT COMPOUND 2.0 85. When you are using a power buffer.the heat that is generated seals the plastic. One could make a business of doing this. takes about an hour per light, depending on how bad. Last for years! Done this with plastic long before most of you have been alive!

That's TOTALLY ridiculous and ABSURD as well as PATHETIC! Why have to buy so much and can't guarantee that they'll work. I don't have the time and money to pay for all that supplies. I'd like to buy and keep it very simple!

If you aren't using a 2K clear with a hardener you are better off just going to a 1500/3000 grit, polishing and then waxing. A regular clear will not stand up to road conditions.
