These beautiful ladies did such a phenomenal job with capturing the feeling of the original and keeping true to the style of that classic era. I'm reminded of certain girl groups from the early to mid 60s when I hear this. It's so awesome to see such an appreciation of the classics of the younger generation.

Heard this song first in 1969, from an 8-track of CSN in my hooch in Vietnam. But these girls did a beautiful job of harmonizing and brightening it up, helping me understand the song's words and meaning better. So here's to you ladies, three amazing women who really crushed it and made it more heavenly. You won't be in that roach motel much longer. : )

I can't even imagine what experiencing this song in that context must have been like. I love CSN so much, but agree with you- I found this version even more touching than the original. I also really enjoy Mountain Man's covers, which have a similar feel to this- slightly sleepy, gentle, heartfelt.

Have you tried harmonizing in those conditions and capturing it on a microphone that isn't designed for that? Even with that, they still sounded great. Why do you pretentious idiots always judge ad-hoc performance to the perfection of a studio recorded song? The original artists literally never perform the song like they recorded it. My bet is you are just bothered by 3 talented attractive women.
