36:09 Fl Studio is big in South Africa. Many top studios run off it this side. Another fun fact is the sound of one of our pioneering genres right now which is Amapiano, was founded and based around an Fl studio stock plugin. The plugin is the DX10 and it contained a preset named Logdrum which is the low end sound and groove of the genre.

Studio one for me was a result of being curious. I learned basic operation of protools in college which is part of the curiosity. I was already familiar with FL before protools but wanted know the “industry standard.” And before all, Cool Edit Pro was my first. Studio One is killer because the time it takes to record upon opening a session, smashed protools.

So my journey to StudioOne started with buying a AudioBox as my first audio interface. Being a new artist/producer it was affordable and StudioOne Artist came with it. At that time I was using FL Studio, which was great for me making beats but was ass in mixing at the time. So I would make beats in FL and mix in StudioOne until, with updates StudioOne became the one stop shop💪🏾

It was created using Logic Pro (then known as Notator Logic) and is often cited in discussions about DAW-based production, particularly in electronic music. *“Kernkraft 400”* by Zombie Nation, released in 1999, gained widespread popularity, particularly in clubs and sports events. The track itself has been certified **Gold** by the RIAA in the United States, which indicates over 500,000 units sold. It also achieved significant success in various international charts, becoming an iconic electronic music anthem."

They're so many good DAWS. Bitwig, Cubase, Mixcraft, Harrison Mixbus, Samplitude, Sequoia, Nuendo, Sadie, Pyrimix, Cakewalk, Digital Performer, Reason, Traktion Waveform, etc., So to say one is the best, you would've to use everyone. But for me i use Studio One mainly for it's ease of use and it basically covers everything.

I landed on Studio One after only being a beat maker using FL Studio, taking a hiatus from music coming back wanting to continue making beats but now record vocals, mix & master. I stopped making beats for so long I had forgot how to use FL so I wanted to start fresh with a DAW that was good at both making beats and mixing. After like a week of intensive research Studio one 4 at the time was clearly the best of both worlds & still is today.

Tbh, Ive used and know how to use Pro Tools, Fl Studio, Studio One, Ableton and Logic. I mainly use and work fastest in FL studio because back in 2008 (FL Studio 8) it was the only the one most "Accessible" to me. I learned to use the others for collaborative reasons. If it wasn't for Pi r8 bay and me bring broke. I probably would not be an FL user. Probably Logic or even Ableton. Do I regret it? No, but im not gonna act like FL was the "Best DAW," it all comes down to workflow they all have their pros and cons. FL is like the Tik Tok of the Daws to me. Its poppin when used right but majority of users be annoying and not even serious.
