Looks like you had perfect conditions for that one Tony. Some amazing views from every angle there. Well done on tackling the 2 edges too. Thanks for sharing such detailed footage of the scrambles. They do look quite tricky in places and require a lot of careful negotiating to get up and down safely.

@@AnthonyJohnson1 Thank you Anthony, although I have been up Helvellyn before (pre KZbin days), I’ve never completed the edges and it’s always something I’ve wanted to complete. I have made several attempts in the past but had to abandon it due to bad weather (winter). To do it with my two sons was special to me. There was a lot of footage of the scramble and thought it might be too much to show, but like you, I do this for my family to look back on in years to come, especially my children and future grandchildren, so left it in. There are a few tricky spots, but you can choose alternative routes around them if you don’t feel comfortable going over the top line, which can make it easier, essentially you can create your own route.
