Btw those 2 captains (shunsui and ukitake) that was fighting Yamamato are two of the elder captains, but they weren't the first captains, they were the first captains to graduate from the academy. Also yeah, that is just Yamamoto shikai, you don’t wanna know what his bankai can do. 😨

What I really like about bleach, as seen at the very begining of the episode, it's that ichigo is not the typical nekketsu shonen hero, he would be content to live a quiet life but he will do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones, much more relatable to the "I wanna be the very best" ambition of other shonen heroes

The injuries are worse in the anime ? I assume this is very poor wording and you mean that the injuries are more severe in the manga. As they are censored in the anime. Though for the return with TYBW has a late time slot so it should be largely uncensored, at least compared to previous arcs.

It's common to name a first-born son with a ichi in the end. It doesn't actually add any meaning to the name, just means that the person is a first-born, as my grandfather was shinichi, my uncle was shuuichi, u get the idea... That's one of the reasons why nobody suspected she was a girl. I think her name is like this even tho she's a woman because her family is noble and she's the heir, idk.
