Hem jeans with a new hem

Thank you! Was using The "Jean -a- ma- ". (sp?). It helps. But a button!! Wow! Husband needs jeans hemmed, going to try trimming the seam and using a button. Have broken too many needles mending jeans. Thank you!!!

How about some ideas for the cut-off legs?

I have some. A potholder or a coaster. Or you can sew the cut part, box the corners and voila - a fabric basket for various bits and ends or for your plants

Just a straight stitch for the hem and zig zag or overlock stitch to hem the raw edge
