arpita jha its a good question. But the fact is for diff condition. Answer - Egg yolk affect the absorption of iton if we take it by externa source or syrup. In natural diet it does not affect.

Its very simple. If you eat egg yolks you will get iron but if you take iron syrup ir tablet alongwith egg yolk then it will affect its absorption due to drug food interaction
