I just found this channel. I don’t stamp (though you make me want to.lol). But I absolutely love this style of weekly memory/journaling. With weekly planners keeping memories to the specific day spaces was just not for me. I don’t plan out my days or time block or anything too structured, so even journaling in that “structured” way hasn’t really worked for me. But this….well this is genius! Meshing up the whole week in a creative slab of prettiness!!!! Love it ❤

that turned out so cute! Love your creative journal process! I still need to buy sticker paper but it is definitely on my list to do for my next planner. :)

Thank you, Susanne! I’m loving the sticker paper for these bolder colored inks! It takes some of the stress out of stamping directly to project… because we’ve all had that major oops! 🤣

Such a great video, Julie! I adore your approach and the gorgeous final spread. Your stamping is beautiful! It’s so helpful to hear your thoughts, especially for stamping newbie. Your spread is balanced and full of life, goals!! Your videos are my absolute favorite, love hearing your wonderful personality throughout❤❤

Such a beautiful spread! And a great point about reducing redundancies - I also feel the need to journal about each photo when that isn't always necessary and can get in the way of recording other stories from the week. Thanks for the inspo as always!!

I saw your work on KBS and loved your style, was wishing there would be a video and here you are! Thank you so much for doing these videos. So basically, you always journal the week after it is over?

So pretty!! I’ve been in a journal slump lately but your spreads give me so much inspiration! Also, I have lash extensions too and feel the exact same way. SO nice to wake up and not have to worry about putting on mascara (and then taking it off before bed lol)

Aww, thanks Holly! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to say hello! Hope your journal pages come to life this week! I’m really hoping my swollen eye was caused by something different than the lashes.. I’ll probably try them again soon because I’m ridiculous. haha

Ah, I love the way this came out! Do you have bleed though or ghosting on the other side of your stamped pages with TSM inks?
@plan2create
@plan2create Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, Lisa! No, there isn’t any bleeding and occasionally a small shadow on the other side but it just depends on how dark the ink I’m using and how broad the stamp is. “Finer” stamps never have an issue. For example, that “happy to be here” could’ve potentially ghosted through, but that’s when I throw down a transparent label and feel super safe. :) Sometimes I remember to flip my page to show the impact - I think I did in one of my previous CJWM videos but I’ll try to remember to show that so people can get a feel!

I love, love, love to watch your process. Your pages always turn out so great and the stamping just speaks to my heart! HA! How long did it take for the ink to dry when you stamped on the clear sticker paper? I think I need to invest in the brand you are using! I have to let the ink dry overnight when I print journaling onto the sticker paper I'm using. I also noticed you stamped on top of the washi on your calendar page (where April is stamped). What ink did you use?! I need you to teach me all of the things! HAHA!! Thanks for sharing, Julie!!
@plan2create
@plan2create Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, Kelly! I think this Stamp Market ink dried pretty fast on that label… it might have a little “stickiness” to it, but no smearing (yay). I’m the most impatient crafter so if anything doesn’t dry fast, it’s off my list immediately. It might be a combination of the Avery brand clear sticker paper and the ink? Not sure if one or the other matters more? On the April monthly page, I have a trick… I stamp it over the washi but if it doesn’t show up crisply, I use my Uni oil based pen to write over it. It’s perfect for that slicker surface. I’ll link it up in my desc box but here’s where you can find it at JetPens: bit.ly/3HoX0ZM

Oh, and I do love the CTMH Archival Black when I’m stamping on a slicker surface. Either that or the Color Theory black ink from CTMH. :)
