You are correct. I have dismantled their books the last couple of years - here's a video I shared of my process for 2024, but also note that I took my 2025 book to Staples and they did it super quickly and beautifully for this year. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKero4Oar5t9Z6c

Do you use the daily pages in the hobonichi cousin?
@plan2create26 күн бұрын
That’s been part of my problem with the HC. I’ve used them sporadically (I just shared a reel on IG flipping through them). I am okay with having some pages blank, that’s life, but I don’t think I’ve fully utilized that section and I feel like it’s too much pressure some days. I do a daily journal in my Hemlock and Oak, so it’s just not realistic for me to fill out alllll the things, ya know?

OK, you're journaling is contagious! Q for you...What size covers do you use for your hemlock and oak discbound? I find that the half letter are too small. Can you link where you get yours?
@plan2createАй бұрын
Oh, that's so sweet. I know! Covers are super hard to track down for this size... I ended up buying these plastic cutting mats from Amazon and trimming them down (just eyeballing them to a size slightly larger than the actual pages). Hope that helps! amzn.to/495CzgX (affiliate)

Love listening to you and going through your planner options. You’re approaching these decisions very thoughtfully, always offering bits of wisdom for us❤️❤️
Thank you for talking about this. I have been trying to mesh my creative side with my planning side and found they just do not work together. I ride around town for a week or two, depending on how boring life is, and then I transfer my planner information to a larger journal planner. I bought pretty much everything Sterling Ink, but I’m writing an N1 horizontal full year size planner and memory keeping in there. My N2 is for around town and has some creative stickers but it probably is because I’m trying to cover up any chaotic thoughts in an attempt to appear normal lol. I canceled so many planner purchases. I really wanted to buy a take a note B6 for work but I already have an undated planner and need to stick to it since it has about 46 more weeks of unused space…. I don’t need to planner hop but maybe I’m just borrrred haha. Nobody really needs more than maybe 2-4 planners, but we find ourselves buying one or two extra and feeling bad about it.

For your Hemlock & Oak, if you are near a Staples, they will neatly and quickly trim off the binding for just a few bucks.

@@plan2create 😂 I’ve used them to convert a regular paperback into a spiral bound book - it was an instruction manual and made it so much easier to use. Hi Does the Daily Hemlock fit into the LV Desk Agenda?
@plan2createАй бұрын
I just checked. The flex cover slides inside just fine (I was surprised) and it technically fits BUT have the GM agenda, not the desk agenda, so mine doesn’t clasp. May not be an issue with the desk agenda? I don’t think the normal hard covers work inside the GM. Pretty sure I tried that a few years back but my memory could be fuzzy. 😆

Are you suffering from planner boredom, or does your system or method need tweaking? I see a lot of people just taking the same old problems and putting them into a different book, expecting different results. I'd set them aside and not think about it until after Christmas. Let your subconscious work it out. Then, the week after Christmas, sit down and decide what your brain needs, not your feelings. Just my 2 cents after watching a lot of videos like this and doing an overhaul myself. BTW, your videos helped me understand what my brain needed and kicked off my overhaul, lol.
@plan2createАй бұрын
Totally possible! I truly know that there isn’t a magical planner… it’s definitely what we do with the paper, right?
