Great video. Very interesting. I have this mod but I haven't made full use of it yet. I think it was updated since I last used it. Very cool. Thanks for all of the links too. I wish the HPG functionality with the H145 was transferrable to other helicopters like the H125. Maybe MSFS 2024 will have better implementation.

Loss of FWD Fuel Pump is no problem for this flight I believe. You have the AFT Fuel Pump too, transfering fuel from the main tank to the supply tanks. In Case of failure of the forward fuel transfer pump the main tank unusable fuel increases to 16 liter / 13kg (Datas from the H145 D3)

Btw, why do you need the radio? Is there a manual for the R+E pack?
@DreamsofwingsАй бұрын
@@kutyafal there is information on the tablet when you start it up the first time and also a really good Discord for the mod now too. You radio on the centre console connects the helicopter to the ground dispatcher. It is how you receive the mission information/comms.
@kutyafalАй бұрын
@@Dreamsofwings Thanks so much. If I may ask one more question: on some of your videos the crew is not on the heli yet and they walk up one-by-one as the mission starts. How do you do that? My heli always starts with all crew on board, or I can remove them, but they don't ever walk up to the heli. Also, sometimes the "cabin preparation" phase gets stuck. Is that a known issue?
@DreamsofwingsАй бұрын
@kutyafal that is all part of the mod. Best to start the mission on the ipad without the helicopter powered up, once you start the Random and Anywhere mission up it will trigger everything and then you can power up helicopter to connect the mission radio.

Smooth and sticky on the runway. BBD seems to be very very good. You can hardly believe you're looking to a sim. Like to see your video's. Maybe the can try to make EHGG or a descent EHLE. Both are approx. 3 meters below asl

@@bartman-hr6ho many thanks! So you would need to head to www.hypeperformancegroup.com and pick up the H145 base pack and the H145 Action Pack expansion. Not worked helicopters before but I'd guess that the pump failure is an electric boost pump, there should be engine driven pumps running. The boost pumps just assure positive fuel pressure, probably why it's an amber (cautionary) warning.

Yes that makes a lot of sense.

@@sanctitysnake sorry to say dude, but I haven’t a clue what you are talking about 🤣. Did I say something about helicopters in Nam?
@sanctitysnake4 ай бұрын
@@Dreamsofwings my point was, in a "life and death" situation, (like in Nam), you don't piddle around with what lights are on, dialing in Freq''s for radio calls, just get airborne first all else is done en route. That helicopter should have already been at flight idle, as soon as all are buckled up the collective is lifted. Immersion is immersion. Thanks for your work, nice video's!
@Dreamsofwings4 ай бұрын
@@sanctitysnake just as well this wasn’t in Nam then eh? There are certain steps, eg activating the radio, that you have to do to get the mission working. This is simulating a crew getting a shout out while the helicopter is cold and dark, as it would be back at base as it where. Maybe unlike Nam, they tend not to sit there engines idling waiting for a shout out on the radio. Thanks.
