In this flight we take the highly addictive Hype Performance Group Airbus H145 on a flight from Oban Airport (North Connel) to pick up a casualty at a road traffic accident before conveying them safely (ish) to hospital.

The scenery is fantastic. What I thought was a cool detail was the reflection of the IPad on the inside of the "bubble" cockpit glass. I didn't listen to all your audio because I was seeking this video in at WORK LOL. So if you mentioned that detail my apologies. Thanks for the video. Can't get enough helicopter Sim videos.

It’s a great bit of immersion that isn’t it. When the weather is really awful or it’s dark you really do feel you are in this cockpit world of lights and realistic reflections. Very addictive, that’s why there are so many helicopters on this channel now lol

You can fold the tablet with a button, default binding in MSFS is "Magneto 3 Both" which is linked to Hinge Open/Close in the Hype Software.

nice video once again and a joy to see the 145 in this beautiful scenery, I also fly a good few HEMS from the same airport with the scottish HEMS livery. I also use Pyreegues Glasgow airport as a base as it has the H145 helipad which I believe is where the H145 lives IRL . All thats missing is Accuweather but I'm hoping MSFS 2024 will address that!

if you havent already, the Helilogging mod in CA is worth checking out, the swing loading physics are a real challenge and the accompanying Revelstoke BC mod is also beautiful

Enjoyed the video! Thanks for posting. Great info! I’m going to download the HEMS Random and Anywhere and Oban airport addons next time I’m on MSFS. Flying missions in the HPG H145 has immensely added to the enjoyment of flight sim for me. Can’t wait for the H160 action pack as well. Love the location you chose too. I’m from the U.S.A, but spent a couple of weeks in Scotland a few years ago, mostly on the Isle of Skye, and can’t get the beauty of it out of my head. I enjoy sim flying in Scotland, as well as Japan, my wife’s home country. I like flying out of her hometown of Toyama into the mountains surrounding the city. I haven’t bought the Cowan Robinson R66. It looks like Cowan did a great job with it, but I generally find Robinson helicopters to be rather homely and unexciting in appearance.

Ah thanks very much! Yes Skye is gorgeous isn’t it. The scenery on that one island is breathtaking. I must take a look at Japan, as soon as you said mountains I thought ‘why the hell haven’t I flown there!’ Must admit I’ve not got the R66 as they don’t really ‘float my boat’ as it were. Widely in use and I know I should get it to experience such a popular IRL helicopter but I know I’d be thinking ‘I wish you were the H145 or the MD500E lol

@@BlueKLR ok so if you go to your HPG Airbus H145 page in the Ops Centre down under where you have a key bindings ‘view & modify’ button you should see below and to the right “Indexed Missions” and an update button

Many thanks!….tiny tiny movements and using cyclic trim release when manoeuvring is pretty key, otherwise you are fighting the stability computer all the time

Thanks for all the videos, Not a HEMS Pilot, But fire fighter. All the jobs I've been to with HEMS they have always shut engines off. All RTC's, don't know if that makes a difference? Also we've usually packed up and ready to go just as they're about to leave... 10- 15 mins after extrication.

Have the Hype operations centre open and make sure you have updated your mission assets on it. If that hasn’t worked it’s probably worth asking over on their Discord as there might be something more to it.

First thing to check, have you refreshed the mission index in Hype Operations Centre?

@@kieran_9994 no problem, so open up Hype Operations Center. Click on your HPG Airbus H145 ‘button’ on left hand side. You should then in the main panel have all your H145 stuff. If you look on the right, below Key Bindings area, you will see “Indexed Mission” with an update button on it. Click that and it should appear in the list below it.

Best thing I can suggest is read through all the instructions on the Random and Anywnere download page but essentially you put the folder in the Community Folder snd then you need to make sure you update the mission content in the Hype Operations centre
