Hen Cloud, The Roaches & Lud's Church|Peak District|4K|February 2024

In this video myself and the lads visited the south west corner of the Peak District National Park.
The walk started with the first of many Jay Falls, falling out of the car.
We tackled Hen Cloud, The roaches & Luds Church, starting off at the tea rooms in upper Hulme we first headed up onto Hen Cloud, we took the more gradual and easier route up due to the weather not being great. The path was very slippery but we managed to get up onto the summit without to much struggle. Unfortunately there were no views but we made the most of the rock formations.
After dropping down from hen cloud and another of Jay's falls 🤣 we headed over to The roaches where we took the path round to where climbers climb the rock faces and then up onto the roaches ridge very easy path up to this point. We reached the Trig point where Jay struggled to put his poncho on in gale force winds it was comical as you can see.
We then headed through the woods to Luds Church which was amazing and unusual, the true story of this place would be very interesting.
We headed out and made our way back to the car and for a pint as per usual.
