Thank you for your videos. Watched them before my exam. It's pouring rain on my drive test but finally passed it today after 4 tries. My first try in Henderson. Was adviced dont stick to one DMV where u failed few times coz they wont take u positively & have bad impressions if they see how many times you failed esp if u get mean instructor.

Ok I can confirm that all the Henderson road test vids on KZbin are all correct I took my test today and it was basically the exact same routes. The dmv only uses two routes one with a roundabout and one without one you can find both on KZbin. It also helps to memorize the speed limits in the video incase your instructor is an ass and doesn’t tell the speed limit on roads without signs. Mine did btw basically if you study all the Henderson road tests on KZbin you’ll know exactly what to expect and it will be impossible to fail unless you make a dumb decision because of nerves but even then you can come right back and pass it the second time.

@@todkozlowski8988 if you drive with a brain four low key fine, also look over your shoulder whenever changing lanes to see the blind spot, and just listen to what the person says.

just failed. So I went right out of dmv and left into the neighborhood, the instructor said i turned to slow into the neighborhood. He told me go go. Another car coming but was in the distance nowhere close to me. I feel like the instructor panicked. It’s not the car was close or had to slam on his brakes. I was just told I turned to slowly and fail! Is this right? Thanks! He said everything else was great and I would have passed :(

My son failed today because the examiner said when he turned left on to the side street...he was too close to the middle of the lane and he needed to be over further to the right. I always advise him not to drive too close to the curb should cars pull out of side streets...examiner said it was an automatic fail. That one seems a bit too subjective.

If you are referring to a left turn from American Pacific into a neighborhood. It is an auto fail if the driver does not stay on their side of the road.

I have a question about the documents we need to get in, do we need a confirmation email to attend the road test or do they look me up through their system? I had scheduled an appointment online however I realized it was too long of a wait, so I had rescheduled a test but this time over the phone. However my test is coming up in about 3 days, and I haven't received my 2nd / new confirmation email, so I was wondering whether or not it was a required document to bring to the dmv. Slow down when you see crossing guards and/or -18. Otherwise stay closer to the posted speed. 20ish

Only if there is broken line at the end. But do a headcheck. If however there is a turning lane on the other side of the bike lane cross over the solid bike line to get in. Like on Gibson.

If there are no children or crossing guards present stay closer to the regular posted speed. There was one examiner that would fail for going 15 when children were not present. She was told to stop doing that.

We question about this …. The posted sign says “when children are present quotes. Our test is during the day and it’s possible there will be children at recess. The school is enclosed in the fence however. Is that still grounds for going 15 even though they’re on there, school property behind the fence?

Yes. Henderson police met with the DMV awhile back and said to have everyone signal. But without defining how. So here is the consensus with the examiners. It's an intersection right? Yeah to when you are approaching the examiner will say for example, turn right or take the 1st exit. In that case signal right. Or they might say go left or take the 3rd exit, then signal left. Going straight or take the 2nd exit, I signal left, then right when exiting. They don't seem to be so strict on the signalling at this point in time.

Henderson told me they don’t enforce the school zone on Saturdays. I dont know about the other dmv locations. But the examiners would say the test is about awareness also. If you see kids use best judgment. Slow down some so the examiners knows you are aware they are present

The sign says”When children are present”. If theres no children then go the normal posted speed limit. In Henderson they dont enforce the school zone on weekends or vacation. However the test is about awareness also. Furthermore I would not trust all the examiners at all DMV’s got that memo about non enforcement during the break. If I was taking my test and saw a child I would slow down.

Slow down when there is anyone that appears to be under 18. High school students and younger. Proceed at the normal posted speed if no children are present. If you see crossing guards slow down also. Dont speed up after you pass a child. Wait until the school zone ends.

No. But if you see anyone under 18 you slow down. They do not need to be students of the school. Could be a mom with a stroller for example. If you see the school crossing guard you need to slow down also

@@yumig76 I don't know how long you have been driving. But a common error is slowing down or even braking while changing lanes. We should maintain our speed if clear to go. We may need to adjust our speed and position in heavier traffic to drop back behind another vehicle. Hesitating at stop signs is also common, with newer drivers lacking experience. If it's our turn to go, we need to move out after our completed full stop. Also, we should drive as close to the posted speed limit as possible without going over.
