Me and a friend started a machine shop one year ago. We bought a VF2YT and a TL1. Great machines! We are machining large quantities of diffrent parts on 4th axis fixtures. We are so happy with the performance and the price of Haas machine tools! We will stay with Haas and invest in more Haas machines! Thank you Haas team! Greetings from Switzerland

I see people just rag on Haas tools, but if NASCAR teams are using them for building high performance automobiles, can't really argue with that. Makes me wish I had one.

Haas machines are great for their money and they iron out the kinks by their support and availability of replacement parts. They are between the first manufactures to consider when buying a new machine tool. It's just that people always try to compare them with the high end Japanese units and that kinda tips the scale. For example at 3:37 the 4th axis assembly is very light duty compared to some 20 ton machines but that's 5 axis for ya! You just have to be aware that it might not be as rigid which limits your cutting parameters, or it might deflect which is something you will have to measure and compensate.
