My wife just bought me my first one for my birthday 2 days ago a M41 Walker Bulldog from Amazon. It is an amazing tank and I am definitely going to get another or 2! Nothing against Amazon but I am so happy Motion is going to stock these I would much rather support Motion RC, you are the BEST in RC!

The Panther V was the baddest tank in WW2 IMHO. I dig the Sherman, T-34, M1 Abrams too.

I have a late production Tiger 1 with metal tracks and hull, great toy at the flying field. Also added a small fpv camera and tx, now I can fpv with the tank too !

Thanks for the comment. I agree. And especially on the upgrade version as if you don't find yourself as someone who will want to take it an bang it around and want it more as a model to paint, weather and sit on the shelf or just to have fun IR battles with your kids (my 5 year old love this) then you really can't go wrong

yeah buddy, they are addictive. I got two already and crave all of them. Great for customizing, weathering and my 5 year old son and I play IR battles in the living room around pillow and the couch. so much fun

I know this is over a year old, now, but I wish Heng Long would further their lineup and discontinue the atrocious "PanTige" they market as a Panther. Sadly, no further releases or updates have been made, and that makes me sad. I do have to give them credit that, in a way, their tanks are pretty much blank canvases with lots of room for cosmetic and performance improvements.

More stock is coming. This factory got hit hard by Covid and add to it the world's shipping issues in general, combined with the holiday season that passed and Chinese New Year rapidly approaching and things just got really hectic.

One more thing, after looking at your collection of tanks, it is the most extensive I have seen anywhere...VERY nice! However, one tiny thing, your weights are way off, these tanks weigh between 10 and 13 lbs, not 5 lbs. I just thought I would throw that out there as usually the weight is usually a thing when buying one of these.

HL tanks have been out for a while now. I'm rather perplexed about some of the comments like they are a new thing. I have 9 of their tanks along with 1 Hooben Sherman. Now that Liberator is something else.

They are new to lots of our customers. Also Heng Long has been around for a long time and had multiple variations of their tanks and numerous versions of the control board. We hope to simplify the tanks to 2 variations and every tank we sell will have the latest TK6 Multi-Function Control Board (MFCB)

Actually, the new version TK6 in Heng Long's mid-2019 tanks now has four different sounds sets. 1) The "original" diesel sound set, that used to be in all their tanks for the past ~12 years (the one you're thinking of), 2) The "new" diesel sound set, 3) The "modern" diesel which is closer to a turbo diesel sound set, and 4) The "turbine" sound set, which is suitable for the Abrams (and hopefully a future T-80). Each of the four sound sets have their own sounds for start up, idle, slow speed, mid and high speed, turret traverse, elevation, machine gun, main gun firing, and shut down.
