I have the pro T-90 and get almost an hour per battery. I bought some 2200 size batteries that I trimmed the coating and they fit with a little effort. Those I get well over an hour playing hard with the tank. This thing is so much fun and the suspension and looks are awesome. Great purchase !!!!!!

447 Challenger II tanks were produced and around 200 are still in use with some having been exported to countries like Oman. The replacement Challenger III is due to enter service by 2027. The Challenger II has the best resistive armour in the world, Chobham (sometimes called Dorchester) and only one has ever been destroyed recently by a mine in Ukraine. The Challenger III will use the L55 120mm smoothbore gun which will ensure much better interoperability with allies allowing the use of more widely available ammunition. This is an excellent model from Heng Long although I would have preferred a different camo scheme, the KFOR scheme doesn't really suite the tank and darker colours including the new MCDCS would have looked fantastic.

It amazes me when others talk about the challenger2 as being old. But yet only ever lost 1 to foe and one to friendly fire, by the yanks. And yet it is still to this day the best MBT in service and combat proven. Unlike Abrahams, leopard, etc. Challenger is like, eat my dust guys. 🇬🇧

one of my favorite tanks, did a detail up of it, and added bb recoil. the heng long tooling is straight from the early trumpeter 1/35th chally 2, with some of the mistakes and in real life its newer than the Abrams and leopard, but they have been upgraded more than our challys. you can move the on off switch to under one of the tool boxes, or your get a ton of water in it if its still under the rear mud flap. now they just need to release a chally one, oh boy would i love that!.

The upgraded version of Heng Long tanks will do full 360 turret travel. My M1A2 Abrams does full 360. Only slightly more expensive but well worth it with the full metal road wheels, tracks and gearbox.

OK ! As I see it, this is the standard version of the Challenger 2. My question is this the Torro version with plastic gearbox? and which control unit is installed in it? TK 6.0 or the TK 7.0 because today I finally bought an Englishman or rather a British one but it hasn't arrived yet by postal parcel.

Its unlikely you will see this but the turret on mine keeps getting stuck, sounding as if the gears are getting stuck. Any fixes?

Take the top off and check the gear, could have gotten something inside blocking it, or may need to replace something. Wouldn't know until you look inside.

Have the same problem in the Abrams periodically, take off the top of the tank and check if a wire is stuck in the gear, that's usually the main cause of the problem

I've seen videos of people doing this, but for me it's terrifying to think of sand getting into the gearbox and causing damage so I'm not putting my Abrams on the beach. 😅
