HENNA GLOSS for Longer Hair

If you are nervous about trying a full-blown henna treatment, a henna gloss may be just what you need. A henna gloss is a diluted version of a full- strength henna treatment. Basically, it’s henna mixed with conditioner. Henna glosses are like light protein treatments, except they tend to be more moisturizing and gentler on your hair than henna.
So, if you are interested in learning about henna glosses and how I prepare (and use) my henna gloss, keep watching. Also, please note henna glosses can be used as a henna substitute. Alternate between my henna treatments and henna glosses - using one of the two once a month or every 6 weeks, if I get a little lazy.

@@heretosucceed3958 Hi you could use Nupur henna once every 6-8 weeks if you do a henna gloss once every 2-3 weeks mostly 3 weeks. Coconut milk is really good in tandem with Nupur henna

How long do you leave the gloss in your hair?

Rachel H it depends on whether I’m using heat. If I use my heating cap, I leave it in for 30-45 mins. If I’m not, I leave it on my hair wrapped in a scarf and beanie for about 2 hours.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve and what your hair can tolerate. If you are looking to really transform your hair, you can use a stronger gloss like the one in this video weekly. The results will be stronger hair, a potentially looser curl pattern, and a more pronounced tint in a shorter period of time. Otherwise, I would recommend using it once or twice a month. However, if you want to take baby steps, you can just add a tablespoon of henna to your deep conditioner and use that weekly. Thank you for watching and I hope that helps!

So you only want to let your henna sit for 2 hrs. You're missing crucial development on your hair sitting 24 hrs. Leave it overnight if you want but I don't think you're supposed to wait that long:)

Usually, once a month. However, if I feel my hair requires extra strength or I want to help slightly loosen my curl pattern, I use it twice a month.
