I rinse my henna over the sink and apply deep conditioner while I m at the sink and do the final rinse in the shower. That way I don't have to worry about stains.

so in India you would mix the henna in a cast iron skillet and let it sit overnight and it would turn black and thats what you would use if you want dye your hair black instead of that the orange color

Wow! That's good to know! However, I've been keeping that brassy, reddish brown look. After I used henna for the first time and it hit those gray hairs that's what I ended up with and I liked it lol. Now I also discovered once I did my final with clove water.......I was like yeah baby!!! Still doing it like that till this day. Thanks for your tip tho cause black is my natural color and Incase I ever wanna go back I now know what to do!!!!👍😃

I applied henna to my hair and it changed my hair colour to a nice orange/brownish highlights. Love it keeps all my grey hair at bay for almost 3 months

@@AG-vp1ok The color is permanent. The new growth comes in gray. It leaves my gray reddish. I use indigo the next day after henna on the new growth around my facial area only because I like a little reddish throughout the rest of my hair for highlights.

I've never seen boiling watering with henna. It should be hot but not smokey hot as you see here. I wouldn't use oil if you want dye to be absorbed thoroughly throughout hair.

by far the most informative and understandable video on henna❤ just one question, when you say deep conditioner and then sitting under hooded dryer for 30 mins, you are talkin about a leave in conditioner right? or i have missed something?😅

Great question, with deep conditioning you would apply the product (deep conditioning masks) and sit under the hooded dryer, and then go back and wash it out. Some deep conditioners are made to leave in as well and most companies put that on the label.

Never shampoo after henna as it deepens in color after rinsing also..wait for 1-2 days n then hot oil (preferably mustard oil) massage n shampoo next day 👍🏻hope that helps❣️
