Sorry for taking so long to answer, I don't come on KZbin very often and I am not familiar with it. Yes, the amount of sugar needed really differs between locations. Even between seasons here! Your videos are awesome!

This is phenomenal! I've watched this video like 30 times. Absolutely love the video! I see a couple of people asking to make a video on how to roll cones, I would like to learn too! Also how do you make a balm to help the henna stain improve after removal? Or is it not necessary?

I don't apply anything except coconut or olive oil if there are some very stubborn bits of henna paste that I have trouble scratching off. I'm pretty sure balms are useless and people think it makes the stain darker because applying creams/oils makes the colors brighter momentarily.

Hey camille! I was a bit wary about adding only water as in the henna paste because it didn't work for me previously. But this worked wonders! This is such a good recipe. I like in the UK, and the weather is quite humid most days so I needed to add a bit more sugar. Nevertheless I got a nice dark stain. I mixed raj and jamila powder together in this recipe. Really nice work, thanks and keep it up 😁

Hello, love the video, but I was wondering if undiluted essential oils and essential oil are the same thing. because I thought essential oil was used only for making a room smell nice. I just don't want to buy the wrong item and then damage my skin thank you. !

It's better to use undiluted oil because it gets mixed into the paste anyway. It won't be harmful for the skin if you buy the right type. I guess you can look around for oils used for aromatherapy or massages. I think the henna artist mentioned already in the comments she uses lavender essential oil for people with sensitive skin. Hoped that helped :)

You can find essential oils in drugstores and natural products stores. I usually keep the henna on my hand for 10 to 15 hours (I think it was 15 hours for this design).
