Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Driven By David Donohue | VBOX Full Lap

In "Track Mode" (depicted here), the Venom F5 is "only" making 1100HP.
For the past couple of years, the close-knit Hennessey Special Vehicles team has been building and delivering customer cars in addition to furthering the Venom F5 testing program. With over 25 cars built, we are refocusing attention on the Venom F5's pursuit of speed and performance records. @@sickjohnson The Speirling Pure exist and its street legal and faster than the track version. I think it's only like a 60 KW battery or something. And no it can run multiple laps without having to recharge. I'm pretty sure the fury V8 drinks tons of gas as well... ... And this is the part where I listen to you respond with something like "then you have to wait for it to charge." Is this people's only argument? No car is perfect, when it comes to hypercars, I want the performance and the Speirling has it over the F5. But if you want to talk about it the Speirling can recharge and under 20 minutes.

It is TRACK ONLY, as in NOT homologated, as in not comparable to the F5... It's a street sweeper that is not street legal...got it? It's absolutely not practical or legal for road use what so ever...OK. It's a single seater even. Can't you see these are not comparable at all? What kind of person goes onto another manufacturers page promoting another, that doesn't even compare...this is demonstrating some low class my man? Can't you recognize the massive achievement that this American company has made on the world stage...instead of what you are trying to do to it here? 🤷‍♀

The Spierling will get a road going version and it will still be quicker than the F5.It's only adding wipers, lights and a few other things to be road legal. Personally I wouldn't want to drive either vehicle on the road anyway. Both of these cars shine on the track so in that case I would take the track version of the McMurtry any day. Based on Goodwood's run alone, the F5 can't keep up. Maybe Hennessy shouldn't have "tabled" Project Deep Space then it might actually have something that can compete.

Agreed. Hennessey seems to be more worried about sheer numbers than elegance and track capability at the moment. It'll be interesting to see the venom f5 once there confident enough to let the engine run at full blast. I hope the wait is going to be worth it.
