I bought my dad one of these for a retirement present a few months ago, the old man decided to delay his retirement by three months however so its still sitting in a box hidden in my parents cupboard so I havent been able to shoot it. I really like that it looks like a very late era cowboy gun or early 1900s police revolver while still being Double / Single which was a big criteria that I needed to meet. I got it for only 750$ before taxes as well. The only real complaint i have construction wase is I somewhat wish it had slightly less low profile sights but i get that's part of the aesthetic.

Not sure if I like the brass, but I’m leaning toward not really. Other than that, the profile is decent, not quite old school Colt or Smith, but a mix of both, Slim barrel, smooth top, exposed ejector rod, gives me classic police revolver vibes that I like. The name? Nooooo. Might pick one up if I can ever afford to justify the price.

I REAALLLY want them to make an “x” version of this gun with adjustable fiber optic rear and fixed fiber front sights. Opening up to third party sights. And being an “x” version maybe having a polymer grip and be all black. A work horse gun that you’re not afraid to scratch like the current model that is truly for collecting.

Well, Justin, IMHO, It's Kinda neat as a sidekick for the 357 Carbine, Seems duly accurate, Quality build; But the practicality and broad appeal are missing, especially at the $900+ Price Point. They're playing in the Kinder, S&W, and Ruger League with a upscale Armscor or Taurus specimen. At 5-7 Hundred Bucks, It might dent the market, But as A Guy who owes the 357 Big Boy Lever, I'll pass, and get a Ruger Instead to compliment my Big Boy. Think "Henry Gambler" would have been More Appropriate Name!! Tom in Pa.🤨

I'm giving this a big "pass". It's ugly. When it makes a Ruger look good, it's pretty bad. I don't like the brass, the whole back end of the frame where the grip attaches looks like they forgot about it needing a grip until it was almost done being designed. It doesn't have to look like an S&W, Taurus, or Colt, but those are the standards for looks to most people. I own Dan Wesson, Pre-Lock S&W's, a Sarsilmaz 586 clone, and Taurus revolvers. I like my Henry rifle, but this gun is just a major turnoff.

Man, not enamored on this gun very much. I think its ugly, unrefined, and priced high for what it is. All Henry's the trigger looks stuck out awkwardly. At the least they could have given it an adjustable rear sight and a guide rod shroud. Reminds me of an antique. I like the USA made and warranty. But its not on the same level as a S&W or Colt in my eyes.
@JustinOpinionChannel
@JustinOpinionChannel 8 ай бұрын
"Reminds me of an antique" - this is the point I tried to make clearly in my video. This is a period specific design to compliment the lever-action carbines. I don't think they were out to make a Smith, Colt, or Ruger clone. It's a Henry.
