He tried, they clashed, and he left because they didn't want to respect anything about the source material. All they wanted was the NAME, and it all meant more to Henry than that.

@@jorgedeanoperez2997 No, he never mentioned Eisenhorn (and I've seen pretty much every video, and read every article that he talks about this in), he specifically said he'd prefer to play the Emperor after an interviewer asked him if he would play a primarch. We have no idea what the show is going to be. It could very well be a something related to the Horus Hersey or something newer that still tells the story of the Emperor over time. Cavil can still play a space marine or primarch later on regardless so it's not really a big deal.

i hope he will do good. i could also imagine him doing a small series of a unknown story, where he can put his creativity in. hand in hand with the autors of warhammer, followed by more books. i think in warhammer it is quiet possible as long as someone sticks to the lore, since its a ever expanding universe unlike lord of the rings - where they ruined the series imo by cooking their own soup and giving shits on source material.

The Emperor isn't really a main protagonist for a show. He's always behind the scenes, unless the show focuses on the Unification Wars or the Great Crusade. Even if the show is about the Horus Heresy, the Emperor isn't exactly a major character to follow. We're much more likely to see the story follow an Astartes like Loken or a Primarch like Horus.

Man if it's live action idk how they'll make warhammer armor look good but i'm sure there are a lot of really smart people that could make it happen. Herny definitely could hold up an 80lb suit. I think it'd be awesome if henry is a SM amongst a bunch of astra militarum kinda like the cenematic we have here for SM2 in this clip. They could also use unreal engine 5 and make an amazing show. I know henry will do the books/games/show right unlike the witcher staff.
