The 5 year exile was painful. But finally he is back in the Cape. And I am sooo grateful for it. His love and admiration for his family is so pure and significant. So respectable too. Also, just look at 8:50 and 10:28 and tell me it doesn't scream Bond. Henry has been connected to so many of Ian Flemings projects but the most famous one very narrowly eludes him. I've noticed two opposite extremes. One: Obsessives that probably have a shrine of Henry in their basement and spend their time stanning excessively (hating on his gf e.t.c) instead of simply being a regular fan or an indifferent individual. 😖 (Henry called these people out politely in a post months ago) And two, those that think he's... beneath them somehow. Like he's either low IQ or not an interesting person at all. It's a strange projection but how they get there mentally... God knows. The man loves and respects his family, friends, colleagues, plays Warhammer, adores his American Akita dog and is incredibly well spoken and brought up. I watched his performance again recently. I think he did a solid job. Also I thought from a character development point of view, he was cut short to get to the action. I'm a huge Christopher Reeve fan. I saw Reeve in 1978 when I was 16. It made a huge impression on me, and there are aspects in that movie that are unique to it and won't be repeated. The joint creative effort of all those involved in making this, at the time, ground breaking movie. Richard Donner, Tom Mankiewicz, Geoffrey Unsworth etc. And of course the unforgettable John Williams soundtrack.
