@FirstnameLastname-my7bz

They Really slicked it only in BvS. Which was also kinda point. Him being as Superman for the first time, constantly under media pressure and pressure of self doubt. And just because it is also how Superman's hair Is in some comics (and Dean Cain version, which is also where rectangle shaped buckle came from), including some of the very first original ones. In Justice League (Snyder or not) his hair isn't so slicked for a reason, because he returned back to the world with renewed hope and into now a company of people just like him. I absolutely agree though that man doesn't need any gel to look like Superman, unless there is particular reason for the geled look obviously.

@flameshoter6
@flameshoter6 3 ай бұрын
@@HotSoggyCheetos True but couldn't be helped. I think it would have been pretty difficult to tell the story based on how the game was. It wouldn't be very interesting for Geralt to go from one place to another hunting beasts or trying to find Ciri for the first 40 to 60 hours or so. Too many interesting side quests would derail the show. It would be too costly.
@HotSoggyCheetos
@HotSoggyCheetos 3 ай бұрын
@@flameshoter6 I can agree with you, but there are statements from the director and writers of the series purposefully not wanting to follow the game lore. Of course the books are full of stories they could pull from but the Witcher game became far more popular than the books and most fans only played the game and expected more details from the game version. And undoubtedly Henry Cavil was the biggest draw to the show so they should have used his knowledge of the game and put the focus more on Geralt.

he was not a good superman. As a JLA reader and a fan of the show, superman by zack snyder is absolutely not what superman is supposed to be. idk if he would have been way better in the costume if the director wasn't hell bent on making superman edgy. His Geralt on the other hand was pretty good.

I'm a straight guy, but man Cavill is just really nice to look at sometimes. It's like going to a museum to look at paintings or sculptures. Sometimes you just have to appreciate a good work of art. lmao
