Bond is, according to the books, supposed to be alluring to women. Doesn't have to be muscles as has been the case before - but Cavill has both muscles and allure from looks and a silky voice (when required). Excellent choice, especially if they let him keep the suit. Bond has long seemed bulletproof and able to fly, so why not hire a guy who was Superman? They could have him climbing out of the crater left by the missiles at the end of the last Bond film, with his clothes tattered and the Superman suit showing through the holes. Perfectly logical explanation (for once) as to why Bond is indestructible (why didn't Clark Kent think of becoming a secret agent, instead of a reporter?). Having said that, I'm not sure they've yet written the next Bond story, let alone cast anyone in the role.

I've been following Henry's career since first seeing him in his first major film role in The Count of Monte Cristo over two decades ago. Even in his early 20s his film presence was a force to be reckoned with. I knew he was going to be a huge star one day and I was right - HE IS! I am so disappointed with Hollywood and how they've treated Henry, first with Superman then The Witcher, I think the British should give him the role of Bond now since he's obviously the best choice. I agree with everything the narrator stated in this video. Craig was and still is my favorite Bond of all time. I've seen all the Bond films but I can honestly say I was extremely pleased that Craig wasn't forced to play the cheesy, overly testosteroned Bond of the 1960s into the 1990s. Brosnan was a step up but Craig nailed the true James Bond persona from Ian Fleming's books. I'm rooting for Henry, as well, and hope he receives this role of a lifetime.

Of the roster of actors currently in talks to play Bond, Cavill certainly seems to be the more appropriate choice. He wouldn't be the first who got the role after "losing out" or turning down the character the first time. He certainly got the looks, and the fact that he's dropped out of one of his longer-term projects recently might be a giveaway already. Not that I would be against seeing Elba or Hardy in a James Bond movie also - but IMHO they's get much more production value out of them by writing them real good villain roles.
