I don't think Star Wars can ever be embraced by fans the way it used to be as long as KK is calling the shots at Lucasfilm. Until she's gone I will remain skeptical of anything Disney/Star Wars announces.

That's fair. Kathleen Kennedy may have been a great executive producer, but she's been disastrous as the head of Lucasfilm. I still remember getting excited about all the Star Wars announcements that were made on Disney Investor Day back in 2020, and I'm pretty sure that half of them still haven't come out nearly four years later.

It would be fantastic if Henry Cavil joined this new Star Wars Trilogy that Simon Kinberg is writing. I'm not so sure that he would be cast in a Jedi or Sith role with Kathleen Kennedy still in charge at Lucasfilm. The sequel trilogy is rejected by us real fans(these Lucasfilm shills aren't real fans), The Mandolorian season 3 was awful according to youtubers who watched it(I haven't watched it so I didn't know about this) and The Acolyte is rejected and hated by most fans as well. I don't know what's going at Lucasfilm, but Kathleen Kennedy and her "story group" people should fired and never allowed to work on any established franchise.

No we will still have Hugh Jackman for the foreseeable future as Kevin Feige has said. The mutant saga is right after the multiverse saga, ending with Avengers Secret Wars. Maybe far in the future after Hugh retires we'll get a new Wolverine. Henry might get a different mutant role, I wanted to see him instead as Doom ngl .
