Apparently people that have trained with him said he's more well conditioned than anyone in the game. Between rounds in sparring he holds his breath for a minute to get better at fighting exhausted.

Jiri Vs Glover was fucking rad but the Santos and Shevchenko fight is not controversial in the slightest. Yes, Santos got her down, and you know what happened? Santos was denied all submission attempts while getting punched in the face the whole time for two rounds straight. not robbery at all.

Henry you are the GOAT but like most fighters don't understand how to apply the new scoring criteria. Takedowns mean nothing nor does control time if no damage is inflicted. You can't just hold someone for several minutes without looking for submissions or causing damage with strikes, elbows... Herzog even stood her up because of the lack of action from Santos. Valentina inflicted the most damage and damage is greater than control. Once you understand what the judges are looking for then you will understand why Valentina won that fight

Losing the whole fight and pulling the win out of his ass is nothing new for Jiri, he’s been doing it for years and years. Also 205 has pretty lackluster grappling so I could see Jiri keeping it for while.

Nah.. I disagree... Problem is everyone wrote off Glover because he was old... but man he bought it and then some.. He out struck Jiri and made him gasses out... Jiri style played a part too his fast pace style burns too much gas and counts on reflects to dodge and defend... SO.... it exposed that weakness... in his game but problem is you gotta out strike Jiri and survive to make that opening... Not a lot of people can do that... On the flip side Jiri also out worked Glover on the ground which is Glovers specialty.. SO he showed he can not only hang with but even beat elite BJJ/wrestlers... @ under 30 that's a hard guy to beat... As he will get better with time..
