First, the Czech light heavyweight rapidly rose to fame in Japan. And once in the UFC, he just needed 3 fights to grab the belt. In this video we’re going to highlight the most memorable Prochazka’s fishishes.

And now he's the UFC Light Heavyweight Champ. What a warrior! Edit: he's no longer the champion, but it's because he vacated it after being injured because he didn't want to hold back other fighters from having their shot at the belt whilst he recovers. This man is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters. All others should follow his lead in the sport.

Am I the only one who thinks that - especially as he got more mature - he has great self-control after defeating his opponents? It is like he knows exactly when his opponent is defeated, and stops himself mid-momentum, sometimes before even the referee seems to have fully reacted. That is a very admirable aspect, and perhaps it is even a bit risky if you misjudge it.

In Document about him called "THE WAY" (You can check on his ytb channel) he was talking about his training one-two. Man... Watching some of Denisa's flying knees is hypnotic. There's so little visible preparation movement. It's as if all his tendons coiled like springs and he just bounces into flight like some damn videogame character. I'm happy the he learned how to use it to force his opponents to block low and catch them with a solid one-two. It's a solid strategy. And I know of him for a few years, but am surprised how good his on the ground fighting is, even though it largely consists of escaping. Makes for great shows.

notice how those who lost, lost for different reasons: - hands not up, lowered defense - looked away/down too long - tucked head but then kept looking down so many lost by not keeping their eyes on the opponent and either closing them or looking away Some great setups by Mr.Prochazka, bringing people's hands down then going for the head, including a nice kick feint at 8:34 which brought the opponents hands down for the head strikes. Oezdemir is a great counter-fighter (allowing the opponent to begin a strike, then using the opening to attack), so Mr.Prochazka began to become a counter-fighter as well, not only allowing the opponent to start attacks, but also used his own attacks as counter-attack instigators ( at 18:47 he uses his knee attack, whether it was a fake or not, to take advantage of the lowered arms for a 1-2 to the head). Fantastic video!

Hello Everybody, I'm also czech, and im watching Jiři his whole career, and I and I would like to say he is technical as an fighter could be, because he is epitome what a Artist is. Look at his all fights no just ufc. In a short notice, he take from the other side (Opponets) everything what they have in them, he've never had a bad fight (boring). Because for him is everything. I've told he will be champ, and he is no matter he has belt. Just watch and you will see. :) Peace (in you)
