Now everyone's gonna talk shit about henry like he doesn't have a gold medal at the Olympics and a 2x UFC champ in different division. Casual: As soon as you lose everything you've done in the past is shit.

Everyone talking sh*t about him coz of his ego and he calls himself the greatest combat athlete
@DuboisDel2 ай бұрын
I'm thinking exactly the same. He has an ego for sure but he's backed it up and has accomplished far more (with less bombast and hostility I might add) than many who had achieved little yet but still have their fanboys. So I don't know what it is about him exactly (at least he still fights) but he gets a rough ride from a lot of idiots out there, the same idiots who (whilst rejecting Cejudo) will fawn over the likes of the despicable Jon 'phony' Jones (for 3 years) or hang on the every word the lepreclown, Connor MickGregor (for 3 years). Folk can't handle just fighting these days, they need a spoonful of controversy to go with it, that way, when the 'fighter' is not fighting, and ducking all comers for a few years, the morons will still have something to come here and chat about whilst high on proper twelve p.s. Not enough is said about how much of a tool Nurmagomedov is too and he's displaying some of it here.

Khabib's a fighter, Cejudo is an artist, somewhere between that and an athlete. My love of martial arts, both as a practitioner and spectator thereof, does not allow me to rely solely on pragmatism in that mindset of Khabib. Maybe for self defense, but even so it's good to have a diverse toolset for diverse situations which can play out.

If you are at the level of grappling that Khabib or Henry is at, all you have to do is not be afraid of being kicked, time the kicker’s movement so that as soon as he starts to throw a kick, you just crash into them (not haphazardly, using your grappling technique obviously) and there you go. You now have a hold of this person. I know it’s easier said than done, but it is not that hard if you’re at a high level when it comes to grappling.
@klausgrisly3082 ай бұрын
Is Henry a grappler? I know he wrestled and so did Khabib, but are they grapplers? I thought they just wrestle fucked their opponents and beat them up when they were tired on their backs. Prime Gordon would tap Khabib and Henry 4/5 matches in an Abu Dhabi scenario.

This sounds like an awful game plan imma keep it a buck xDddd I mean there are 5000 kicks out there and 300 different angles knees can be thrown , not to mention a roundhouse fient or a low kick fient followed by an uppercut. I mean what you are saying in not incorrect just highly situational and heavily over simplified.

You don't need to be at a high level of anything to negate a kick. All you have to do is step into it. Next, you can do whatever you want.

The Cringester didn’t knock out TJ or Cruz, he threw a flurry of punches with no power behind them and as TJ and Cruz waited patiently for them to stop so they could counter, the ref stepped in. Two of the worst calls Ive ever seen in the UFC

@@BrenTenn rocked fighters usually stand up and complain about being stopped. TJ got beat pretty clearly that night so I’m not sure what you’re trying to say other than you don’t like Henry… Tj got kicked in the head and punched violently to the ground and ate like 10 follow up shots. He fell trying to get up…the lights were flickering and the ref saved him before they got shut off completely

@@jakenbake9878 i deffo do not like triple c but that is a personal opinion which is besides the point. I remember watching it at the time and being furious with the ref and just rewatched it there for the sake of this conversation. Tj lost his balance from trying to move back and defend at the same time (while the ref looked in the way also), got flurried in the way down and spun around trying to avoid the shots. Turned his head so that Cejudo wouldn’t have the angle for full-on strikes to the face. Ref stepped in. Imho should have let it play out but the other side is that TJ shouldn’t have given his back up no matter what as that is another way of submitting. So take what you want from that. I would be embarrassed to take that as a win if it was me but what do I know I am just an amateur fighter and these guys are world champs
