If you are talking of minimalist musicians or even just composers, there are so many deserving names ... La Monte Young, Tony Conrad, Pauline Oliveros, John Cage, Angus MacLise, John Cale (yes, the one who played with Velvet Underground -- before VU who played with La Monte Young and Tony Conrad among others), Brian Eno ... These, along with the four you mention are the ones I have listened to fairly frequently ...

i too only appreciate absolutely sumptuous music. i tell my friend when lisening to band like "train" & "P.O.D.", listen to the affluent amounts of melodic discourse & presence of harmonies, the renewal of what are called "S0uND T1mBres" and in short a healing wave of flashes and clearly apparent ambition. i share ur superior intellect and thank u philippe cirse for gracing the comment section with ur timeless definitive knowledge of absolutely sumptuous music which is a genre i like to talk about A LOT!!!!
