You can get lever actions for 400-600$ that are just as good, you should get one in the future.

@@TheChattyAlligator yeah I’ve found some good quality ones for relatively cheap, both antique in good condition and brand new more “modern” builds. There’s just something about the 1860, it’s more the rifle itself than the, well, rifle itself

Supply logistics during the Civil war were a nightmare. Think of all the variation of ammunition required. 44 Henry Flat, 50 ca. Maynard, Burnside, Lindner, 54 cal Sharps, 50 cal Spencer Rimfire, 1861 Springfield, P53 Enfield, Smith, Joslyn, M1841 Harpers Ferry in both 54 and 58 CAL. M1855 , M1843 Hall. And others.

@@saintpepsiii2019 Well God knows that Red Dead Redemption invented the gun in a video game and now it exists in real life only because people liked it so much. There's totally no such thing as history or even movies and TV shows with the gun like "Dances with Wolves" and "Deadliest Warrior". Nope, totally not.

Mine is in 44-40 and i love her! Found her in the backroom of one of my local gun stores for 2.3k €. Went to my bank next day and she was mine :) Childhood dream complete at the age of 46, TOTALLY worth the wait! . . . . . . Now i just need the ammo for her... If you know, you know XD

It do get a little warm, after a while.😁Got mine,which is exactly like the one in the video at the gun show in January for 900.00 dollars out the door .Brand new in the box. Only one I saw at the show. Talk about being in the right place at the right time . Love Henry Repeating Arms.

Unfortunately yes. I have the Henry original Henry in 45LC. I shot it last, a year ago; but from memory after mag tube 2-3 it gets uncomfortable to hold without a glove. At least indoors, might be nice on a cold day. I'll be taking it out next this winter :).

small nitpick about the beginning of the video, the Henry’s appearance in RDR2 isn’t as the Lancaster, but as the Litchfield. the Lancaster is the game’s name for the Winchester 1873 repeating rifle

i have a 17HMR Henry Goldenboy, maybe it’s the ammo i’ve used, but i have tried a few different companies and it keeps pushing the bullet into the casing. probably caused by the mag tube. anybody else have one and know what ammo works? or is mine just messed up?

Tucker Carlson was gifted a new,remake Henry riffle, from Hal Blood,Maine legend and tracker of all edible animals. KZbin channel is something like,maine bigwoods buck's, i think,Hal blood is his name,you would love watching him track white tail bucks,good bucks
