I have seen a couple different versions of the equations. they depend on the units for the value of k that you are using.

what role does the temperature play in the equation?

K is any number so 1/C is a number diferent to C but they both are numbers, so you can say that 1/C = K and it will be the same equation PD: I hope you understand me, my english sucks
