Another fine McCulloch tutorial. You are a fine teacher for a novice repairman like me. Listening to you sounds like me working on stuff. Luckily I have a dog so if anyone walks in on me, people don't think I'm talking to myself 😁

I hate to see you struggle. But it is nice to know that others have days like this and that I’m not the only one who’s projects don’t always go as planned.

That is the cleanest 130 I have ever seen. I just did that rope break on my Homelite superXL. LOL Thanks the gasket goes against the block. ARGH!!! To confess years ago I threw one of these out because i couldn't (at that time ) fix it. Now I would give it a go. Thanks again Leon.

I always just put the motor in the case and only put in a screw or two to semi secure the motor in the housing. And connect the gas line. Then test start it. Some some people pop the bar on put it in the vise and start it with a drill but i dont really like doing it that way. To many time have i completely assembled a mini mac just to take it all apart again

Oh i know the pain of the 2.0 quite well..have one that's been my nemesis for 2yrs..i know I pulled it outta the case a dozen times one nite tryin to get it running..,had to use a soldering iron to fix leaks at the seam on the tank one time,n that dang fuel line got me couple times til I put a wire in the fuel line to match shape of the original then heat shrinked it to keep the bends in the fuel line.. that worked great....finally got it running pretty good I think....theres alotta power packed in those little suckers!! Great stuff Leon n thanks for sharing!!

I rebuilt your carburetor. I made a separate fuel channel for the idling. Thus, there is no need for the non-return valve in the main nozzle. I have a video of it on my channel.

Hello. I'm working on the exact same saw. The problem is I have spark with the engine outside the case, but no spark when put into the case. Replaced the kill wire, thinking it was shorting to the frame but still no spark. Any ideas? I also replaced the coil with the same results.

I am working on a 110 for my first ever chainsaw and it belongs to a friend. It was full of oil/sawdust cake. I suspect the oil leak was the T shaped connector from the oil tank to the oiler. The connector takes almost no effort to plug it into the oiler. Where can I buy one or is there a better way to fix that?
