Henry vs 13 bandits - Kingdom Come Deliverance

There's a sidequest called robber baron that you get by talking to Hans Capon in Rattay, you have to deal with a group of bandits and during the quest you can choose to go there by yourself to negotiate a peaceful solution. However, you can also choose to duel the main leader of the group, at which point there's a chance that the entire camp will attack you after you beat him, which is probably a bug but still fun to try out.

I know this is 2 years old, but if you do the quest this way: Talk the the Farmer's wife, wife show's you where the camp is, kill them all by just charging at them (so no dialogue or talking), after all this you go back to Bernard, Henry like nothing happened will say well I just killed the camp, Bernard will be like wtf and Henry just replies well I just killed them all, Bernard stays baffled by the news and sends you to Hanush to report the news.

Yeah maces are nice against heavily armored enemies, sadly you reach such an insane power spike near the last quarter of the game you can pretty much just one - two shot most people even with a sword against full plate.

Got back to bernard and told him that I killed the baron, he was impressed and wanted to check the body for himself, when I got back to Sir hannush I only had the option to tell him I got the baron to run but pay compensation even tho I told bernard I killed him xD

It is a bastard sword, historically it can be used with one hand and a shield and can conviently be used as a longsword when your shield got destroyed. Some people preffered it with a shield.

This almost insta kill them! :O And how do you switch the enemy focus so easy, fast and smooth? *I* personally can move my mouse away. Doesn't work. I can use the mouse wheel. Doesn't work. Maces and poisons make short work of groups, I prefer the “ravens beak” as it holds excellent defence stats on top of some nasty damage output.. slam some bane on that bad boy.. lot of dead people.

Eh, it's a much safer way to approach combat, especially with multiple enemies attacking you. My usual tactic in a fight is to backpedal and stab as much as possible. Though, when fighting in the Rattay tourney, I was forced to switch it up and found that forcing clinches and knocking the enemy back is usually the best way to go since it almost always results in a free hit.

This is old footage...in update 1.9 they reworked the whole combat system. Enemies are much harder and aggressive now, and even more "ferocious" in groups.

Strongly disagree. You have more cover so you're more likely to block attacks even if you don't time it perfectly, and it reduces the chance of getting master struck by enemies. Only you're not supposed to use a longsword with it.

Well yes, i could agree with you all if i would be some plebby who can't get attention to five and more people at the same time and use some axes/maces, all that boring stuff witch low dps and can't see arrows that fly into me, especially those what we have in game. Longswords is best, no matter of their armor because you can just hit anybody in heavy armor in head and knock out him.
