Thank you for finishing this lecture and even presenting it as you did. The commentary-in-a-box worked for me. You refer half-jokingly to Wikipedia at times, and I suppose learning from KZbin lectures might also be regarded lightly. However, I don't regard your scholarship or the content of your talks lightly. I've learned more about Flavius Josephus this week than I ever expected to know - not just about his works, but also about the person, his times, and how we can accept him today. Apion was correct about the Jews, known as the Hyksos, being driven out of Egypt. The Hyksos set themselves up as the 15th Dynasty during the Second Intermediate Period, which coincidentally coincides with famine during the 13th and 14th Dynasty that didn't effect the Hyksos 15th, but strangely famine also hit the 16th Dynasty. Circumcision is an important marker of identity for ancient Egyptians and modern East Africans, and Africans in a wider sense. Whoever Apion was, he certainly had a contradiction with indigenous, non hellenic Egyptians.

The sculptures date from 1230, not between the first and eighth centuries. They ARE medieval.

The "clanishness" of circumcision claim by Apion is ridiculous as Kemetics themselves practice circumcision as a virtue of purity; along with Minoan culture, Kemetic culture was the most cosmopolitan and international of [Western [Mediterranean]] world culture. So even in Romans times Kemetic antiquity had a highly esteemed glory-- as it does to this day! (Even our Hebrew pictographs are derived from the Kemetic Heiroglyphs.) Ralph Ellis' theory about Flavius Josephus and Paul the Disciple being the same person is genius and I think his theories will someday be praised for the erudite discernment in piercing the Roman propaganda and censorship, to share the truth of Jesus and Eden and the Hebrews as Hyksos and the Great Pyramid as Sinai (I think Sinai and Chorev were general terms meaning "divine mountain" which where actually 3 diffetent locations: first with Moshe alone sheperding I think he recieved Hidden Torah (Probably at Mt.
