I love seeing the celebs stories, but the stories of the viewers were interesting, as well. I have a Tubman in my ancestry, and from what I can discover, one of my ancestors enslaved a man who took the name Tubman when he was freed in the early 1800s. This freedman was either the father or the grandfather of the man who married Amarita Ross, AKA Harriet Tubman. My family has roots on the Eastern Shore of Maryland from the 1600s, fighting in the Revolutionary War. There is a Tubman Chapel still in existence in Dorchester County, Maryland.

I wonder if you all would be able to help me find my Korean ancestors records when japan occupied the country. The family chokpo was lost, in fear of my great grandfather becoming a POW because of his position in local government. I dont even know his first names. I know he is a Pak or Park in English. But Pak is one of the most common last names on the peninsula.
