Love the content, I have the 2024 V Strom 800 DE as well and just had a center stand put on

I found after having both stand feet touch the ground pressing down with your foot while pulling the bike up with the rail helps a lot, from my experience though SW motech stands for up a lot easier but maybe come off a bit easy too. I love having one though can allow you to park in tighter spaces being up right

Thanks for this, I’m considering a centre stand for mine, so very helpful! I’ve found on my previous VStrom 650, pulling the bike backwards when standing on the lever seems to improve the movement of the bike rear wards, but it might be different on the 800. I’ve subbed for your future DE content 🙏😀

I find that placing all of your weight on the stand (once it makes contact with the ground / floor), the bike is much easier to place on the centre stand. Wearing sturdy boots is essential. Dirt bike boots with a steel shank in the sole are best, as they're hardly any flex of the boot.

Great video. I got the Suzuki center stand. I still haven't gotten it on the center stand without my little hack of rolling the rear tire up on a small wood block. It's cheating, but until I can get the correct motion to get it on the center stand, my cheat will have to work for now. lol. I uploaded a short about it. :) Having the center stand makes simple maintenance tasks much easier without a doubt.

It's from MRA - it's pretty good. Not too loud and does a very good job of keeping the wind off. I do get a bit of buffeting on my helmet at 90mph but that's to be expected. I'm 6' 1"

Hi I have the same bike as u! Colour as well! Love it got it a week ago! I'm having some issues with windbuffeting.. I noticed u changed windshield. I have ordered a Givi airflow one I hope it helps. What brand do u use? Working on the 600mile 10k km to be able to go over 4,5-5k rpm!!! Love the videos keep em coming! Do u notice any wind hitting our helmet? I'm 178cm tall so a bit shorter then u.

I have the MRA screen. It's good but you do feel a bit of buffeting on the top of your helmet at 90mph. It's fine though and doesn't bother me personally

Hi there, Hope you have mastered the art. i would practice on concrete to begin with though. The trick is to gently push on to the floor, so both feet of the stand are on the floor. Now you should be able to hold the bike upright, just by pushing down on the stand (do this when confident). Now, hold rear grab handle or rack etc, Now the the trick is to stand on the stand, putting your full weight through your Right leg, Now just pull up AND push down with your leg/Foot. Hope this rambling makes sense and good luck. But being on concrete will make a lot of difference
