Completely agree you have to look for change. It's a soup of bacterial bits and viruses to start with.

Good experiment but you should have a control and i have heard if you stop air entering the bottle its ok to use for the 2nd dose, ie draw what you need into a syringe and don’t let any air in.

What if the bottle was kept on the gun and stored in the fridge? Would that make any difference?

I work on the basis that inevitable contamination happens when the spike goes into the bottle, not that contamination happens from bugs 'falling in' during storage. If you see how an autoclave has to work to achieve proper sterilisation of surgical kit etc, it's clear that no amount of boiling an injector gun in a pan at 100 degrees is actually getting it fully sterile! So to actually answer your question, I don't believe it would make much of a difference. Thanks for the comment!

What did it look like before you tested it ??? How do we know it wasn't in-fected with bacteria before hand ?? Just a question.
