Thank you! I didn’t realise the vaccines were interchangeable.

Quick question, I've jabbed all my sheep with hep p now for the 4 weeks can't get any so was going to jab with bravoxin before lambing and then jab lambs with 2 lots of ovivac on advice of your video (they'll all go for slaughter eventually and not breed) hut jow my breeding ewes will not be covered for pasterella i know you say this is less of an issue in adult ewes but if I have ovivac left over from lambs shouldn't I jab all my ewes with ovivac too to cover pasterlla anyway? If so do they need just the one jab? Also do my ewes now need two jabs of bravoxin because I've given one of heptivac a couple of weeks ago...do I need to start again and get 2 jabs of bravoxin in them?!

Thanks for a helpful video..i have brought my flock back into the Heptavac system but i dont have enough Heptavac for 2nd injection pre lambing for about a third..i do have unopened Tribovax, can i use this for the shortfall..thnk you in advance

@@tomzeedee hi, thanks for the comment. To my knowledge, Tribovax 10 is exactly the same as bravoxin 10 so I reckon that would work fine 👍🏼

Great video! What advice would you have re treating ewes 6 weeks from lambing who have took pink eye? In a shed eating good haylage. Starting to meal feed them in another week. Been in the shed for 8 weeks or so but just developed it the last few days. I’ve treated with Betamox LA and squirt of pen strep. Any other suggestions? Will it run its course?
@shropshirefarmvets23375 сағат бұрын
@@neil3352 hi Neil, thanks for the comment. Pink eye in ewes is likely to be caused by a bacteria (mycoplasma) which can't be treated with your penicillins/betamox. A better bet are your tetracyclines (alamycin) and macrolides (draxxin etc), alongside separating them if possible - it's contagious. It's a bit of a complex topic, I'm happy to give you a call about it if it would be helpful!
