I had heart rate palpations with my last pregnancy between weeks 14-18 and then a few more times. I was really scared the first time. This was my first pregnancy with thyroid medication. My doctor said that the combination of my body, my thyroid medication, and the baby's newly developed thyroid worked to increase my metabolism which increased my heart rate. Which led to more and more anxiety. He lowered and raised my medication my entire pregnancy but he is now a healthy happy 3 year old.

I get palpitations when my magnesium is low. I make a mag spray with mag flakes and equal amount of water, dissolve put in spray bottle. Epsom salt bath or foot bath will help done several times a day

I'm a retired RN, and from what I've seen of you watching your channel you need to take a deep breath, relax, and know you are a great mother. Yes, you are older now and pregnancy is hard at a younger age. I had several women in our Women's Health program your age or even older. Try staying busy during the day as you will sleep better at night. Hopefully the Doctor will come up with a thyroid medicine that will work for you. I will be praying that God will give you peace.

I can't see the comments, but I have thyroid issues as well. I just wanted to offer that heart palpitations or racing heart is a symptom of too high a dose of the thyroid meds. I'm sure you've researched this but I have had that symptom and a lowered dose completely fixed the problem. If you're on Armor it might be a bit more complex as levels are harder to standardize. I wish you well.

Just a suggestion, maybe sleeping reclined instead of laying down would make them less noticeable. I get (none-dangerous) palpitations related to a medical condition, not medication, but I’ve noticed that changing my position can make them less noticeable when I’m trying to sleep. ETA: I notice them the least when I’m propped up on pillows and turned slightly on my right side.

There’s that baby,he’s sticking close to his mama. He knows something is wrong. He wants his mommy! Be happy! you have some wonderful children. One more would be a great addition but sometimes things don’t work out like we want and are never easy to go through once we are there. You need to do what is best for you. Praying for you🙏🏻!

How is her Iodine intake? PURE cranberry juice and Artic Kelp may help. Stan Efferding talks a lot about the Thyroid on his KZbin videos, take a look. Best of luck.

I’m have Hoshimoto’s as well and I’m having the exact same thing. I wake up in the morning feeling like I’m having a panic attack because my heart is racing so fast. I know mine is too elevated right now. Have you tried the brand name Levoxyl? That is the only one I can take. Also when I would get pregnant my thyroid would kick in and I would need as high of a dose and with a couple of my pregnancies I didn’t have to take it at all

I have this problem but I’m much older than you and certainly not pregnant, but I take metoprolol for the rapid heart beat maybe you could ask about this it has helped me so much

I will not comment on your wife being pregnant with her current health conditions as that is you and your wife's decision. Just think about what life will be for you and the children without her.
