The voices of Barry and Robin are so different but when they sing together it's hard to tell them apart. Most of this song is sung by them together. Maurice comes in for the perfect harmony on the choruses. It would be nice to show her their Medley from the 1989 "One for All" concert where she can hear each brother and they each have a chance to shine. So nice that both of you are reacting together. Keep it up! Love her comment about the flashy distractions in the background. They didn't NEED flashy distractions! Would like to request "Fallen Angel" by them. Barry plays rhythm guitar. Maurice plays bass, keyboards, guitar and just about anything they threw at him. Robin piano, organ, some guitar (and played around with cello and harp) but never on stage except very early on. He preferred to concentrate on composing and vocals.

On August first 1981 MTV was started on TV. It was finally a place you could go to see your favorite bands on TV. Then bands started creating elaborate videos for any new songs they released. This song was written in 1977 so no one put too much thought into elaborate videos since there really wasn't anywhere much to show them. Thanks for your fun reaction guys!

Think everybody knows some or many songs of them without any idea who they are. Many movies had their music onboard, also many commercial spots. This track was also a big Nr. hit for the british band Take That in the nineties. Nice to see you again with your girlfriend, take hold of her.

You are such a softy lol. Beegees music would have to be right up your alley. Maurice could play any instument he was a genius that way. In Barry's words if he could touch an instrument he could play it. Robin played guitar, piano, clarinet, drums, saxophone and harp. I think Barry only played guitar. None of them could read music they were all self taught and with the music they produced shows how genius they really were. There will never be another group like them.

Seriously listen to the lyrics? Now in 2023 we have women talking about their body parts that I won’t even repeat because it’s so sad. I know I am a lot older than you guys I am 61 I grew up in the 60s and 70s I grew up with the Beegees, America, Jim Croce, the carpenters. The lyrics to were about dating and holding hands and kissing and simple things. I think music now is crap it’s just plain crap.

I agree with you too Kathy. I was a teen in the 60's. Terrific music. I loved those artists. Very few react to Jim Croce. He wrote great songs and used humor on many of them like "Bad, bad Leroy Brown". Loved that song. Great lyrics and beat.
