I love first time reactions to movies I like. I also like it more when I can tell it's genuine and when 1 person (of 2) stays truthful and says they've already seen it. You got my like and sub.

Some Trivia: When "The Bride" gets her Ticket for Okinowa, if you freeze frame on the Ticket you get to see her real name, When the Jet flys over Tokyo it is actually a Minature set built for a Godzilla Movie. The Song Played during the flight is theme from the Green Hornet TV series (Flight of the Bumblebee) which starred Bruce Lee as Kato, Uma's Yellow Jumpsuit was a nod to Bruce Lee in the movie "Enter The Dragon". I had to wait 6 months between the release of Parts 1 and 2. There was supposed to be a Part 3 (which takes place 20 years later) but that never happened because Uma and Quentin had a falling out over a stunt injury (followed by a lawsuit).

My favorite Tarantino film (1 + 2 are really one film) and one of my top ten films period. Jamie mentioned her ninja shoes a few times. The tread on the soles of her shoes says “FUCK U”. You can see it on the one shot from under the glass floor when she walks across it.

The 'Kill Bill' films are some of my all-time favorites, and I may have to hunt down Tarantino and get on my knees and beg him to make "Kill Bill 3". He said he's retiring after his next film and has already said it's not KB4. But, given Beatrix's statement after little Nikki sees her mother dead at the beginning of the film, "When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting.", and ever since I read someone online saying how perfect it would be to have Uma Thurman back as Beatrix, and her real-life daughter, Maya Hawke, playing her fictional daughter, B.B., along with Zendaya as little Nikki, in a final showdown ... I mean, COME ON! How could he NOT finish this story out??? Also, fun fact of sorts, one of my best friends here in L.A. works as a supervisor for when the studio has to re-edit a film to make it "appropriate" for TV and airlines (the ones that show censored films, anyway) and, for this film and the infamous 'Pussy Wagon', they had to pay to digitally change the keychain and truck to say 'Party Wagon', and then the actor had to come in and re-record his dialogue to say, "My name's Buck, and I'm here to party". How fucking stupid is that?? I also have always heard that QT has a cut of the film that's all color and in chronological order, and I would love to see that, but not sure if would ever be released, and also not sure it would be as good, but would be interesting. Okay, I've had too much caffeine and typed too much so, great reaction and can't wait to see you watch vol. 2!

Uma’s Japanese is decent, though her pronunciation and articulation isn’t perfect. But honestly, gotta give her credit for trying. She’s on the money enough to understand what she’s saying if you speak Japanese.

Tarantino is so much fun. I like some of his movies more than others, but no matter what he may be doing wrong (and it's not much), I'm never not enjoying myself.

Easily my favorite movies in the Tarantino universe. Inglorious Basterds is another masterpiece of a film. Definitely Tarantino’s infamous foot fetish is on display here. Lol
@mrtveye6682 Жыл бұрын
My issue with Inglorious Bastards or Django - though for sure good movies - is, that Kill Bill was a big homage to a lot of movies/genres he liked and was influenced by, but he mixed them and made his own movie out of it. The following movies are more or less "tarantinoized remakes" of stuff that's already been there, like "The Dirty Dozen" or the old Django movies. Like I said, for sure still good movies (IMO Tarantino doesn't have a bad one neither as a director nor as a writer), but for me he lost some of the "magic" of his earlier movies after Kill Bill.
@kellifranklin9872 Жыл бұрын
@@mrtveye6682 That’s a fair analysis. I do agree with you about the magic that the Kill Bill movies had. Tarantino definitely never really captured that special touch again that we were used to.

I normally love war movies . I though inglorious bastards was mid at best . A few good lines and scenes . But it just seemed like it was trying too hard to be a “Tarantino Film”. The end was stupid .

The guy in the cartoon who kicks the candle to light the fire when they kill Oren Ishi’s parents is a young Bill, illustrated by the manner he holds his sword.
@psycho42069 Жыл бұрын
I just recently heard this theory and it didn't make sense to me. I read that it "was supposed to be" Bill but i don't understand why, if that was true, O Ren would then join Bill's elite squad of assassins. I mean you saw what she did to EVERYONE else that ever crossed her, why would Bill be granted not only forgiveness and mercy, but servitude and loyalty as well? Im not saying you're wrong, just I've never heard this from anywhere but KZbin comments and it doesn't add up to me.
@rowenatulley85211 ай бұрын
I feel the same way. Oren is the kind of woman who holds a grudge, as witnessed by her takedown of Matsumoto and his men. If Bill really was involved in the killing of her parents, the only possible way she would join the DIVAS is if she didn't recognize him - highly unlikely . . .@@psycho42069
